Squam Lake Rentals - Rental Policies

All properties are individually owned. Squam Lake Rentals represents the owner(s) of the property(ies) in a client/agency relationship. All rates are weekly unless otherwise indicated. Prices include 8% NH rooms and meals tax. A minimum deposit of $400 is required, and due within 5 days, with every reservation. This deposit covers, but is not limited to, damages, missing items, long distance telephone charges and/or any other expenses incurred by the renter's negligence. This deposit is held in a non-interest bearing account and refunded after 45 days of your departure, less any expenses incurred. Once we receive your $400 deposit, we will send you a Rental Agreement which must be signed by you and returned to us with half of the total rent within 10 days. The remaining rent must be paid in full by May 1, or your reservation will be cancelled.

Weekly rentals are from Saturday to Saturday. Check-in time is after 3:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. unless otherwise agreed. Keys may be picked up and returned at New Hampshire Colonials, Route 3, Curry Place, Holderness, NH.

Upon check-out, please leave dishes washed, beds made and property in a clean, orderly condition. Cottages/homes equipped with telephones are for local calls only. Long distance calls must be charged to a calling card or made collect. Mail/message/fax deliveries can be received through the N.H. Colonials' office.

No jet skiis/personal watercraft are allowed on the premises. If you wish to bring/rent a boat, please check with your rental agent as to the availability of dock space, parking for boat trailer, size of boat, etc. Not all cottages/homes are equipped to house a boat.
